Joint Center President Presents Future of Work Survey Data at Partnership on AI Meeting

On November 14, Joint Center President Spencer Overton presented information on the Future of Work survey data of 600 African Americans, 600 Latinos, 600 Asian American/Pacific Islanders, and 600 whites at the Partnership on AI meeting in San Francisco. The presentation focused on the unequal impact of automation on less affluent workers and how different racial groups perceive automation, work, and skills. One key finding is that African Americans show a clear demand for training and up-skillling opportunities but face barriers which hinder their success in the workforce. The Joint Center looks forward to presenting more in-depth findings early next year.
