USBC 2024 White House Roundtable of the Treasury

Joint Center Vice President, Policy Joins USBC 2024 White House Roundtable

Joint Center Vice President of Policy Jessica Fulton Fulton participated in the U.S. Black Chambers’ Inc. White House roundtable, engaging in critical discussions on issues affecting Black businesses and communities. The convening brought together officials from the Biden-Harris administration and various Black organizations focused on creating dialogues surrounding economic empowerment and racial equity initiatives.

“According to Joint Center research, Black entrepreneurs face unique challenges in accessing affordable capital and quality technical support and participating in procurement processes. The U.S. Black Chambers is playing a vital role in addressing these issues with policy solutions to support the 35 percent of Black Americans prioritizing entrepreneurship in their financial goals,” said Fulton on the importance of this roundtable discussion.
