Joint Center Vice President Jessica Fulton Joins Panel at Sadie T.M. Alexander Conference

On February 21, Joint Center Vice President Jessica Fulton joined a panel at in The Second Annual Sadie T.M. Alexander Conference for Economics and Related Fields. The event gathered economists and policy practitioners to discuss the “longstanding systemic and structural barriers that have prevented Black women from pursuing careers in quantitative science fields, and to honor their contributions to innovative programming, mentorship, and strategic partnerships.”

The panel, A New Vision for 2020: Top Economic Issues, also included Economic Policy Institute Director of Program on Race, Ethnicity and the Economy Dr. Valerie R. Wilson, Drake Road Strategies Principal Akunna Cook, and Omidyar Network Principal Joelle Gamble.
