On Jobs Day, the Joint Center’s Workforce Policy Director Harin Contractor hosts an online conversation on the implications of the latest Employment Situation Report for Black communities when The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) releases data providing insight into key indicators like the national unemployment rate and the number of jobs created over the month.
On May 3, Harin led the conversation with Howard University’s Assistant Professor of Economics Jevay Grooms and Georgia Budget and Policy Institute’s Senior Policy Analyst Alex Camardelle.
