Joint Center Workforce Policy Director Speaks with UNITE Students

Joint Center Workforce Policy Director Dr. Kayla Elliott met with a group of high school students on a college tour organized by UNITE, an Alabama-based nonprofit that supports both high school and HBCU students. As a board member of the organization, Dr. Elliott joined students for visits to the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial and the National Museum of African American History and Culture. During the tour, she spoke about careers in public policy and shared how her HBCU education helped shape her personal and professional journey.
