A recent Joint Center report highlighting disparate outcomes for Black community college students was featured in the New York Amsterdam News. Joint Center’s Workforce Policy Director Dr. Alex Camardelle was also quoted in the article.
According to Dr. Camardelle, “findings from a recent Joint Center report show that Black students at community colleges experience lower graduation rates and earn tens of thousands of dollars less after graduation, while having to take on more debt than their peers to pay for school. But, it doesn’t have to be this way.”
