What the Future of Work Means for African Americans in Atlanta

October 29, 2019 @ 9:30 am - 3:00 pm

Please join the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, the Georgia State University’s Andrew Young School of Public Policy, and Comcast NBCUniversal for an intimate discussion about the future of work for African Americans in the Atlanta area on October 29th from 9:30 AM to 3 PM.

You will join twenty to thirty other Atlanta area leaders in discussing how technology (the internet, automation, AI, and sensors) is shaping and re-shaping the economy, job market, and economic opportunities for African Americans in and around the metropolitan Atlanta region. During the conversation, participants will not only help elucidate the challenges of the tech economy, but also share examples of how Atlanta is contending with the evolving nature of work and identify potential public policy solutions.
