The Joint Center’s Harin Contractor Hosts Panel Discussion on November Jobs Report

On the first Friday of every month, the Joint Center hosts an online conversation on the implications of the latest Employment Situation Report for Black communities when The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) releases data providing insight into key indicators like the national unemployment rate and the number of jobs created over the month.

On November 2, Harin hosted a live discussion the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ November Jobs Report with Erica Groshen (Former Bureau of Labor Statistics Commissioner), Chandra Childers (Researcher at Institute for Women’s Policy Research), and Harry Holzer (Former U.S. Department of Labor Chief Economist and Professor of Public Policy at Georgetown University).
