In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Dedrick Asante-Muhammad, Joint Center president, authored another opinion essay highlighting the economic landscape of Black Americans and how the actions of the current administration are reinforcing the inequalities of the past. Asante-Muhammad also highlights the new 2026 State of the Dream report, warning that we need to act deliberately to address inequities.
