National Organization of Black County Officials Presentation on 5G in Portland, Oregon

Joint Center President Spencer Overton participated in “A Fireside Chat: The Future Of Technology and Innovation – Where Are We?” at the National Organization of Black County Officials’ Economic Development Conference (EDC) at the Marriott Portland Downtown Waterfront, Portland OR. This discussion focused on Smart Cities, 5G and the future of technology, with real-world solutions and proven strategies on what government leaders need to build more livable, workable, and sustainable cities. Nicol Turner-Lee, a Brookings Fellow, moderated the intimate conversation, and Beth Cooley (CTIA) also participated in the discussion.
