Joint Center Welcomes Three Fellows
WASHINGTON — The Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies is proud to announce the addition of three distinguished fellows — Lettisha “Tish” Boyd, owner of Beyond Savvy Consumers and long time thought leader on economic issues related to those affected by the criminal justice system; Narda M. Jones, former chief of staff at the Federal Communications Commission; and Eric Morrissette, former acting under secretary of commerce under the Biden-Harris Administration.
“I’m excited to bring on the tech, economic, and public policy expertise of Narda, Eric, and Lettisha to assist the broader Joint Center team and to help push our research further than before,” said Joint Center President Dedrick Asante-Muhammad. “Fellowships offer a mutually beneficial opportunity to expand our capacity while engaging with the perspectives of experienced and accomplished leaders. We’re proud to foster these relationships as we continue to center Black voices in policy debates.”
The fellows will work alongside the Joint Center’s Economic Policy, Tech Policy, and Government Diversity issue areas, collaborating with staff, publishing reports, and offering strategic insights to Joint Center staff.
“With the fellows’ extensive background in public policy and government affairs, their addition to the Joint Center staff is essential,” said Chief of Staff Monica Mitchell. “Their expertise will strengthen our ability to engage with key stakeholders, inform policy debates, and advance our mission of promoting equitable outcomes for Black communities.”
