Joint Center talks Future of Work at LinkedIn

On Monday, April 24, 2017, Joint Center President Spencer Overton was a featured speaker at the External Partner Summit at LinkedIn’s Headquarters in Sunnyvale, California. Spencer talked about the future of work, and the special roles of civil rights organizations, public officials, and companies like LinkedIn LinkedIn’s technology can aggregate and compare the skills employers say they seek with the skills offered by job applicants. This allows public officials to identify the difference between the two and develop strategies to ensure residents acquire skills that are in demand by employers.
