Joint Center President Spencer Overton moderated The History of Black Politics: A Long Road—The Black Political Tradition, a discussion on “the past of Black politics and the future that lies ahead.”

Panelists included Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC), Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes-Norton (D-DC), Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA), and former Speaker of the California State Assembly Willie L. Brown.
