Joint Center President Featured in Peter Damon Group’s Powerplay Series

Joint Center President Spencer Overton was featured in the Peter Damon Group’s PowerPlay series, where he discussed his leadership at the Joint Center and emphasized our ever-important issue areas. The Powerplay series is a monthly discussion focused on action-oriented leaders from various sectors who are shaping our future with powerful and creative solutions to 21st century issues.

On the Joint Center’s role in the public policy sphere, Spencer states, “we really like to be a convening space that’s focused on some of the priorities of Black communities […] Where we fit into the ecosystem is really trying to provide the data, the rationale, and the background to support others in the community as they do their work.”
