Joint Center Participated in National Skills Coalition Skills Summit

Justin Nalley, Workforce Policy senior policy analyst, participated in the National Skills Coalition’s Skills Summit in the panel entitled “Financial Aid Policy to Support Inclusive Career Pathways – Federal AB Quality.”

This discussion centered around how career-focused, short-term programs can be a link to employment, higher pay, and future education and career advancement opportunities. Nalley also discussed how leaders can advance federal policy reforms and equity.  

 Nalley was joined by José Miranda, director of Government Relations at the Association of Community College Trustees.
