The Joint Center organized two panel discussions for Harambee 2023, sponsored by the Association of Black Foundation Executives. Joint Center Vice President of Policy Jessica Fulton moderated the panel, Tax Policy & Black Communities – Making the System Work for All of Us. During the conversation, the panelists shared learnings about race and the tax system, and how philanthropy can help to shift the unfair burden on Black communities during current and ongoing policy debates on tax policy reform.
