Joint Center Meets with FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler

On Thursday, November 10, the Joint Center – partnering with INSIGHT America – organized a breakfast with Federal Communications Commission Chairman Tom Wheeler.The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite, and cable in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories. During Chairman Wheeler’s tenure, the FCC has expanded the Lifeline Program, supported an expansion of broadband access, and worked on other initiatives that improve the quality of life in communities of color. Meeting Participants Included:
