Joint Center Joins Public Knowledge Panel on ‘How Public Interest Values Shape a Better Internet’

Joint Center President Spencer Overton joined a Public Knowledge webinar entitled “How Public Interest Values Shape A Better Internet.” The conversation focused on “how public interest values have shaped the internet so far, how the internet has changed since the 2012 blackouts, and how the public interest community must ensure they continue building a better internet for everyone.”

Catherine Stihler, CEO Creative Commons, April Glaser, Technology & Social Change Project, Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy fellow, and Akriti Gaur, RYale Information Society Project resident fellow, joined as speakers. Public Knowledge CEO Chris Lewis hosted the conversation.
