Joint Center Interim President Speaks at EconCon

Early this month, Interim President and Vice President of Policy Jessica Fulton spoke at EconCon, a forum for policy experts, organizers, advocates, and policymakers to build a more inclusive economy, to discuss the policy responses to the Great Recession and COVID Recession.

In the panel, “A Tale of Two Recessions: What the Great Recession and Covid Recession Teach Us About Public Investment in Good Times and Bad,” Fulton examined the differing outcomes those responses produced and discussed how to ensure the community can apply the right tactics in the future to prevent a repeat of the mistakes made during the Great Recession.
