Joint Center Hosts Journal-isms Roundtable: ‘What We Should Remember About Jesse Jackson’

The Joint Center hosted the Journal-isms Roundtable, focused on Rev. Jesse Jackson’s place in history and discussed the effect of Jackson’s campaigns on journalists of color.

The discussion hosted several reporters who have covered Jackson’s campaigns, including A’Lelia Bundles, who covered Jackson’s 1984 campaign as a producer for NBC News; Leroy Chapman, editor of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, who shares the same hometown as Jackson, Greenville, S.C.; and Eric Easter, campaign staffer and spokesman for Jackson during his presidential campaigns.
