Joint Center Economic State of Black Women Snapshot Featured in Black Enterprise

Joint Center Senior Researcher for Financial Regulation and Policy Cantrell Dumas released a new snapshot titled “Economic State of Black Women in the United States,” which was highlighted in Black Enterprise. In the analysis, Dumas shares analysis on population demographics, workforce participation, education, and income, wealth, and retirement security.

From the article: “The findings in the “Economic State of Black Women in the United States” report reveal that while educational attainment and labor force participation are important, they have not been sufficient to close longstanding gaps in economic security.”
