Danielle Davis, director of Technology Policy, contributed to the Black Women’s Roundtable 2024 Report, “Owning Our Power in 2024: Now is the Time to Participate, Protect, Preserve, Promote!” Her essay, “Manipulating the Republic: The Impact of AI-Driven Disinformation on Black Voter Engagement and What We Can Do About It,” explores how generative AI is being used in political campaigns and the implications for Black voter engagement.

In the piece, Davis discusses how AI-driven disinformation can undermine voter trust and participation, offering insights into the risks posed by these technologies in the upcoming 2024 elections. She also highlights strategies for protecting Black voters from deceptive tactics and ensuring electoral integrity in the face of these emerging challenges.
