Joint Center Attended Dr. Nicol Turner Lee’s Fireside Chat

Joint Center Technology Policy Director Danielle Davis attended a fireside chat featuring Dr. Nicol Turner Lee, Senior Fellow and Director at the Brookings Institution and former Vice President and Director, Media and Technology Institute at the Joint Center. Dr. Turner Lee authored a new book entitled Digitally Invisible: How the Internet is Creating the New Underclass.

The event brought together thought leaders to discuss the digital divide, its impact on underrepresented communities, and the policy solutions needed to foster digital inclusion. Moderated by Larry Irving, President and CEO of the Irving Group, the conversation included insights from José Antonio Tijerino, President and CEO of the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, and other distinguished guests.
