Houston Style Magazine Covered Joint Center Research on Black Workers in Sector Partnerships
Houston Style Magazine covered Joint Center’s research on sector partnerships titled, “Policy Strategies to Improve Job Quality for Black Workers in Sector Partnership Programs,” and called for Houston’s workforce system to incorporate the recommendations to improve sector partnerships for Black workers.
From the article: “Black workers have long faced a labyrinth of systemic barriers that have stifled their advancement in the U.S. labor market, steering them into low-wage jobs with little to no prospects for upward mobility.
