Joint Center Workforce Policy Director Harin Contractor Joins Walmart Panel on Preparing for the Future of Work

Joint Center Workforce Policy Director Harin Contractor joined the panel, America at Work: A National Mosaic and Roadmap for Tomorrow, to discuss the preparing for the future of work. The discussion was based on findings from a Walmart-sponsored report of the same name, which "examines more than 3,000 counties in the United States with the goal of helping communities plan for their individual situations and develop responses that will position them to survive and thrive in a changing economy."

The conversation was moderated by Mike Bartlett (Senior Policy Analyst, Economic Opportunity at the National Governor's Association). Other panelists included Al Fitzpayne (Executive Director, Aspen Institute Future of Work Initiative), Kristin Sharp (Executive Director, Shift at New America), and Rick Wartzman (Director, Drucker Institute's KH Moon Center for a Functioning Society).
