Joint Center President Moderates Panel on Economic Power in Black Communities Through Business & Entrepreneurship

On September 13, Joint Center President Spencer Overton moderated part of a session titled Building Economic Power in Black Communities through Business & Entrepreneurship. The discussion, which was co-hosted between ABFE and JPMorgan Chase, was "a part of a series of conversations which elevate the imperative of supporting Black business and entrepreneurship, through philanthropy, investment & policy."

Spencer's session focused on "the importance of policy in moving federal, state and/or local dollars to Black business/entrepreneurship."

Panelists included Association for Enterprise Opportunity Vice President of Strategic Engagement and Communications Corey Briscoe and JPMorgan Chase Institute Director of Business Outreach Chris Wheat.
