Joint Center Goes to Partnership on AI's Annual Summit in London

From September 26-27, Joint Center Economic Policy Director Jessica Fulton and Workforce Policy Director Harin Contractor participated in Partnership on AI's annual summit in London, England. Every year, Partnership on AI brings together stakeholders from the tech community, advocacy groups, business, and academia to discuss the implications of AI on society. The Joint Center contributed to the conversation by providing expertise on building fairness into new algorithms and technologies, and the importance of considering communities of color when thinking of AI.

The Joint Center joined PAI in August 2018, and has participated in several meetings. Last November, Joint Center President Spencer OvertonĀ presented early analysis on our report, Racial Differences on the Future of Work: A Survey of the American Workforce.
