Joint Center Economic Policy Director Writes Twitter Thread on November Jobs Report and Black Workers

On November 2, Economic Policy Director Jessica Fulton spent her first #JobsDay at the Joint Center crafting a Twitter thread discussing Black workers in relation to the November jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. During her thread, Jessica pointed out key statistics such as "In 2017 Black workers made up 17.3 percent of health care and social assistance, 10.1 percent of workers in the manufacturing industry, 6.1 percent of construction, and 20.8 percent of transportation and warehousing."

At the same time of Jessica's Twitter thread, the Joint Center's Workforce Director Harin Contractor hosted a live discussion on the jobs report. Check it out here.
