The National Academy of Social Insurance held it's 22nd Annual Policy Conference, "Beyond the Bad Economy: Jobs, Retirement, Health, and Social Insurance" from January 21-22, 2010 at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. This two day conference included four break out sessions, key note speakers, as well as a luncheon debate. On Friday January 22nd, Dr. Brian Smedley will participated in Session IV: "A Look at Health Care Reform and What Remains to be Done" along with four other panelists. Dr. Smedley discussed the impact of health reform on health disparities. The session was held from 10:45am - 12pm.
