Please join the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies (Joint Center) and the American Public Health Association (APHA) as we celebrate Men’s Health Month and the launch of a new partnership: Building Pathways to Wellbeing and Life Opportunities for Boys and Men of ColorTogether, APHA and the Joint Center will partner to prioritize and address key determinants of health and life opportunities for boys and men of color (BMOC).

Research shows that African American and other racial/ethnic minority males have increased risk for morbidity across the lifespan and experience diminished life expectancy relative to other race/ethnicity-gender groups.  BMOC are less likely than women to utilize preventative health services, have health insurance, or a regular doctor or source of care.  Join the launch of this important partnership on June 2 to help improve opportunities for good health for BMOC.
