The National AHEC Conference brings together AHEC programs, centers and partners from across the country to provide practical skills and information to 1) implement or improve AHEC sponsored programs, to 2) enhance the professional development of AHEC directors, staff and board members and to 3) enable participants to develop new approaches that address the AHEC mission.  The AHEC mission is to enhance access to quality health care, particularly primary and preventive care, by improving the supply and distribution of healthcare professionals through community/academic educational partnerships.

The Joint Center Vice President and Director, Dr. Brian Smedley, will be presenting at the conference.
